Jocelyn Knox came to me via our Headshot Party and then decided to have a Personalized Portrait session. Jocelyn use to work for Capital One also and although we didn’t know each other previously, we have mutual colleagues.
Jocelyn’s session was unique as she is the brand with a multi-fashion approach. Jocelyn was going for “soft/pretty and tough/edgy.” I know the wardrobe stylist, Anetra and Jocelyn had extra fun selecting her wardrobe. The full length tulle pink skirt was just the cherry on top! We played classic to modern rock songs to keep us inspired. Holly gave Jocelyn a real glamour makeup look and Brittany got Jocelyn’s hair to stay up with some attitude! I love how Jocelyn’s images turned out and we especially love the black and whites ones. They have an extra punch.
Blue Gown – we were going for a Hollywood Glamour feel; Purple Dress – we incorporated Jocelyn’s love of photography; Black Pantsuit – we played with different poses that had a little edge to them; Pink Tulle Skirt – definitely brought out Jocelyn’s inner rocker; Black dress – which hugged all of Jocelyn’s curves showed off her tattoo’s and edge.
Jocelyn has always had a love for both the creative arts AND science, and has received accolades in both spaces throughout her life. With such diverse talents, it’s no surprise that she describes herself as a “multitudinal entrepreneur” – a woman of multiple interests and passions! She is currently co-founder and managing partner of K Grace Consulting, a business consulting firm focused on helping companies overcome growth barriers (www.kgraceconsulting.com). She is also a freelance graphic artist and photographer (www.jocelynknox.com) and a stylist for eSBe Designs (www.esbedesigns.com/jocelyn). In addition, Jocelyn offers design consulting for clients looking to create fun and stylish pet-friendly spaces in their own homes.
Jocelyn resides in RVA with her husband, Karl, and their furry family. She is an avid music lover, cyclist, foodie, and book worm.
