Patrick McFadden is a marketing genius and the owner of Indispensable Marketing. His insightful ideas just roll off his tongue and they make profound sense. Patrick and I first met at the Renaissance Executive Forums. We exchanged business cards and promised to meet. Then when we did meet, it was so cool to be conversing marketing speak with Patrick who not only “gets it” but moves the ball forward in his everyday interactions.
We built good rapport in our meeting and Patrick was ready to trust my Personal Branding process. When his Personal Branding Portrait Session day came, he was very easy to work with and open to my ideas. Patrick has a very busy schedule and we talked before hand about which clothes to bring to his session. On the day of, Sydney Lester of Chic Stripes worked onsite with him to determine his five outfits and quickly steamed his clothes so everything looked very professional.
Patrick does a lot of public speaking and I wanted to get an action shot doing so. I had a mic that we put on him as his prop and he went through the motions of speaking. I love the shot of him in the executive chair with his one foot up. I wanted to make sure to convey his easy going, very approachable and thoughtful approach to working with him. I also wanted to make sure to update his profile images for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and any other social media platforms Patrick is on. Lastly, I made sure to provide images with lots of “negative space” so he can use to add inspirational text etc. These images especially have multi-use because they can be reused in many ways and also they can be cropped for portraits.
For every photo shoot, I used Holly Miller, owner of Makeup by Holly to make sure all skin tones are even. It gives that final professional touch that really makes a difference in the final outcomes.
