The Watkins family won a Stewart School silent auction bid for a family portrait session with me. I enjoy taking family portraits as I do not do these as often as I use to. The Watkins family wanted to have their portraits done at their home. I went a week early to check out their location and too see where the best light was. I also got to meet their adorable French Bulldogs.

I was most impressed with the Watkins family. The children were great and beautiful to photograph. They have the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen. I came back for a second time because I didn’t think I got enough good ones of the youngest daughter. I am glad I did come back as I got to know her better and capture her uniquely. We had a nice evening to work with. I love my job because I get to meet some pretty amazing people and the Watkins family were just that…pretty amazing!

The first picture was taken at the Independence Golf Course
